Do not operate the machine below designated pressure without approval from osmonics. Operation below started pressure may be detrimental to the pump.
Do not allow the pump to operate without concentrate flow. If pump prime is lost when trying to clean on suction, positive inlet pressure is required to reprime. No air should be sucked in to the inlet line during suction cleaning.

CLEANING:

1. Switch OFF the turbine and isolate main power supply.
2. Disconnect the automatic water level system and put it out from the tank.
3. Drain the water from the tank.
4. Before going to start internal washing of the tank make sure that the tank is empty.
5. Start washing with raw water.
6. Detergent, sand paper, brushes etc. will be used to remove stain if found.
7. After cleaning the tank properly fill the tank twice with water and drain it. This step will remove the detergent, particle etc. from the tank.
8. Fill the tank with water and send request for analysis to Quality Control.






Q.C Inspector will take the sample to perform required analysis.
When water analysis will O.K main water transfer valve of the tank will be opened for the routine usage after receiving the Q.C release.
Note: If results not found satisfactory, washing the tank will be done again by draining and re-filling of water.
This process will remain continue till the satisfactory results.

Unscrew the Heat Exchanger to dismental the plates of a heat exchanger.
Check all the gas kits if find any problem in any of damage replace all the gaskit set. It is no recommended to change only one of damage if have som problem.
For plates washing dip all plates in HCl. (Diluted in water).
After washing now its time to go for a fitting procedure of a Heat Exchanger.
During fitting take care about the sequence (which is mentioned on the plates).
Clearance gap must be taken place with in limits (limits are shown on plates).
While assembling the Heat Exchanger even tightness should be taken place.
After making it clear, now its time for leakage checking procedure (start up the pump to check leakage if any).
If find any kind of leakage then tight evenly to stop leakage.

 The maintenance staff time to time checks the machinery. Any deviation or problem is immediately forward to the maintenance manager for further activity.

GENERATOR

1. PURPOSE

It is established to ensure require electric supply (in case of power failure) in the factory.

Clean the generator with clean cloth to remove dust.

In case of power failure switch the generator to “ON”.
Check the oil pressure and fuel pressure gauges.
After gaining the specified 50 HZ, voltage, put the main load on it and then check amps.

EMERGENCY / BREAKDOWN MONITORING:

Maintenance Manager receives Maintenance Work Order duly signed by the section incharge of the concerned machinery or equipment.
Maintenance Work Order is assigned a number according to the receiving in the Maintenance Reference Register.
Maintenance Manager assigns the maintenance work to the concerned personal
After the completion of work the section incharge signs the completion of Work Order.
All the record is filed and kept by the Maintenance Supervisor.
PRECAUTIONS:

Always use protective gloves when operating the machine.
If find any kind of noise, vibration etc. immediately switch the main power supply button to “OFF”.

DEHUMIDIFIER

1. PURPOSE

It is established to ensure the required transmission of chilled water in the different departments of production.

2. SCOPE

It is applicable in the different production departments wherever chilled water is required.
3. RESPONSIBILITY

Maintenance officer (Mechanical / Electrical)
Maintenance Supervisor (Mechanical / Electrical)

4 PROCEDURE

The Chiller with instrument is handled in the following way.

CLEANING:

Clean the chiller with clean cloth to remove dust.
Wash chillers internally once a month with chemical procedure.

STARTUP & OPERATION:

Always keep the switch to “ON” position
Checks the compressor heaters are working properly.
Check all the pumps & electric circuits are in proper working condition.
Check all the valves, gauges are in proper working condition.
Check the water flow and level in the water storage tank.
Check the gauge, valves pumps abnormal noise etc time to time to meet any kind of emergency.
After checking all the pumps, gauges, valves etc. Start the chiller to “ON”.


5 MAINTENANCE

MONITORING OF MACHINE MAINTENANCE:

Time to time check each and every part of Chiller Unit according to the maintenance schedule.
Check the following parts carefully.
 Water transmission Line
 Proper working of compressor
 Electric Panel relays etc.
 Control switches
 Pressure Gauges and Temperature Gauge
 Check the gas pressure (R 22) of compressor
 Check the flow switches
This activity is then documented in the form Machinery & Equipment Maintenance Log
Check the Chiller Unit condition time to time to find any kind of problem during operation.
All the monitoring record is filed and kept by the Maintenance Supervisor.
